Stop fixating on the bad things in your life. This mindset causes you to miss out on all the wins.Brian Dubow, Founder of Hit of Happiness and Life & Business Coach, teaches us a simple yet transformative framework for happiness called MAGIC, which stands for the practice of mindfulness, activity, gratitude, inspiration, and connection. These practices reframe your reality by helping you focus on the good in your life, instead of what’s not going right. For both Brian and me, the practice of gratitude, in particular, changed everything—from how we view success to how we experience everyday joy. Ready to shift your mindset? If you fixate on that one thing that Sacco going well and have that negativity bias, that's going to be your entire life. Your whole life will be in that shadow versus if you can focus on all the good. I like to say when you appreciate the good in your life, the good appreciates in value. Your life becomes more valuable. And going back to this example for six, things are going well and one thing is not going well. Think about your life like a tennis match. If you won six games in his head and lost one game in asset, you would actually need thrilled because you just won the set. That the way our brains work is that we fixate on that one. That didn't go well. And that doesn't mean we shouldn't learn from that one game in retrospect and be able to say, OK, well, could have been better. What is the growth there? But let's focus on the winds because life is really good. And at the end of the day, what you choose to focus on is your reality. And that is the life we have to live in because we're all just living through life and our attention creates that reality.

When your job is to identify opportunities and fix problems, you start finding flaws in everything—even in things that are "perfect." And it doesn’t stay at work. We think we can separate work from life, but we can’t. Our brains don’t switch off. That’s where my struggle was—until I found a way to rewire this negativity bias that’s deeply embedded in all of us.Gratitude. Writing down just three things you’re grateful for—even once a week—changed everything for me. It rewired how I saw the world, improving my life satisfaction, reducing anxiety, and even improving my sleep. And science backs this up across cultures and wisdom traditions. Gratitude works—so why not try it at work, too?Gratitude is part of the MAGIC framework for happiness shared by Brian Dubow, Founder of Hit of Happiness and Life and Business Coach. Check out our full episode here to learn all about it: https://lnkd.in/gDi2cggn#HappinessSquad #myhappinesssquad #HardwiredForHappiness #MAGICformulaForHappiness #RewireYourLife #Gratitude

You can be super engaged at work, giving it your all every single day. But what if that engagement is also pushing you to the brink of burnout? It’s okay to be “all in” at work, but don’t do it to the point you’re struggling to keep it together in other parts of your life.Employee engagement programs are great—until they’re not. Engagement without balance can lead to overinvestment at work and underinvestment everywhere else. And that’s a fast track to burnout. If you really want your teams to flourish, it’s time to shift focus. Look beyond just how engaged someone is at work. Consider the whole human—how they’re doing at home, how they’re balancing life, and how you can support them holistically. When you help people live, work, and lead at their fullest potential, everyone wins. So, how are you supporting your team’s well-being beyond the office? Let me know in the comments.#EmployeeWellbeing #Leadership #WorkLifeBalance #HolisticSupport #PreventBurnout

Most workplace well-being programs only focus on those who are already struggling. Employee assistance programs, meditation apps, and stress management tools are great, but they come in after the damage is done. The real issue is in the everyday work environment itself—endless meetings, overwhelming workloads, and reactive leadership. Instead of putting out fires, we need to prevent them. That means proactively reshaping the way work is done—adjusting workloads, improving team structures, and developing leadership skills that foster flourishing, not burnout. It’s time to stop reacting and start creating a work environment where people thrive. What do you think? How can we move from treating burnout to promoting well-being?Check out the full episode on building psychological fitness with Dr. Karen DeCesare Doll, Psy.D., L.P., Advisor on Workplace Mental Health and Harvard University Human Flourishing at Work Community Chair, here:https://lnkd.in/gvTA49dC#HappinessSquad #myhappinesssquad #HardwiredForHappiness #PsychologicalFitness
